“I’m Nex, you’re in the same house as me right? I think I’ve seen you around on occasion. My hairs not always blue though” Nex replied to Thalia’s enquiry with a small laugh as she began to notice the effects of the rain on herself. With a slightly annoyed sigh she made a mental note to change later on. Her mind began to drift when she realised Phil was speaking, snapping out in mid day-dream she caught him mentioning to call him Phil. Thank god she didn’t miss his name, now that would be embarrassing
“Good to meet you Phil” she allowed herself to calmly smile, and glared slightly as the rain dripped down her face. Wiping it off with one hand she looked up and saw a face she recognised “Hey Marlene!” she grinned and waved as the girl walked closer “Yep blue seemed good today, kinda fits the weather as well” Nex laughed.

....Not always blue?
Either she charmed her hair, dyed it constantly or...OH YEAH. She was Nex.
"Right! You always have different hair colours! I know you now! Well. I don't know you, per say, I mean...I know who you are. Well. You know what I mean!" Well. That hadn't gone well. Not at all.
Was that Marlene McKinnon? Thalia always thought she was hilarious. Next to the Marauders, she was probably one of the biggest thorns in the teacher's sides. Hell, she could be the fifth Marauder.
And there she went, drifting into thought. Back to reality.

Francesca eyes drifted to Severus, frowning. No, she wasn't friends with him. And probably never would be since the disowning.
Those 'marauders' or what ever they called them selves could go fucking die or whatever. No, she didn't hate them just because of their pranks. They were egotistical egg brains that thought they owned the school. After watching Severus for a moment, she moved her eyes back to the group she was standing with. As the cheerful girl walked up, she decided she wasn't going to stand here. "Um..One moment...?" She probably wasn't going to come back though.
Walking towards Severus, still holding the umbrella so the liquid wouldn't hit her. She stopped about five feet about from him, still standing straight. "Are you okay?" She said, knowing that he was probably going to snap at her. Oh well, she got snapped at a lot by Slytherin. A hex was more common to her.

The sallow figure found his place in the book, his place was dog-eared but just as he began to read it started to rain. “Oh bloody hell. Come on!” he groaned as he lightly tossed his head back against the woody surface of the tree. His eyes closed and he sighed loudly in frustration. Why did everything have to be so hard? The young man allowed the rain to fall upon his body and noted that the tree hardly protecting him from such assault. Even the trees and nature itself was against him, but he wouldn’t become a victim, no, for he didn’t pity himself or anyone else for that matter. Severus Snape opened his eyes once again and tilted his head down so that he could put his book away. After closing the potions book he tucked it away within his clothing; perhaps that would protect it from the cold rain. A few moments later the rain picked up and began to fall more harshly and soon drenched the lad, but still he sat no motivation to move him. His hair became rigidly straight due to the water and it fit more snug to his face which it framed already, beads of the liquid ran down his face and hair, but he didn’t care, only after remembering about his book and its safety did he finally have the will to move.
A sudden voice brought him from his world; from the sound of it, it was female. Oh great he thought dimly, his anger beginning to swell once again. “Your petty insults won’t work on me wench. Leave me be.” He hissed darkly, his gaze was fixed ahead of him, he didn’t bother looking at her, for chances were she was there to insult him so he wouldn’t give her the simplest of courtesy, he wouldn’t render her that privilege, that gift if you will, like everyone else, she didn’t deserve it.

Francesca continued to watch him, then slightly cocked her head. "Hm? Insults? Glad that you think of me like that. I'm actually not here to insult you." She said softly, placing her small hand on her hip. So, this guy had gone through that much bullying he acted like this? Sighing rather quietly, taking a small step back. The Marauders were really bitches, she was sure that others thought that too. Yes, once she was hexed by those jerks, and once gotten a broken arm from Quidditch from Potter. Yes, she could tell that smirk on his lips meant it was meant on purpose to hit her arm with the Quaffle. She was Keeper for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. She successfully ignored the thunder, and moved the umbrella to cover a part of rain hitting her arm. She excepted to get hexed soon, but she didn't give a damn.

“Then what do you want?” he inquired in a level and curiously aloof tone, Snape had put on a mask to hide away his emotions for they were a sign of weakness and undoubtedly could be used against you, he considered this practice for his defense against the Dark Lord, he knew what he had to do to keep him and Lily safe. He needed to master the art of Occulemency, after that he would focus more on Legilemency. He turned his head to look at her despite himself. Snape’s black eyes took in the girl’s countenance, she didn’t seem familiar, but perhaps they had a class together during some point in time and was too wrapped up in his studies to take note of her.
Upon further investigation, Severus noted the inquisitive look in her eye, it was almost a curious twinkle and he himself was wondering what sort of thoughts she had playing in her head. He was someone who took everything into account, even the most minute, trivial detail. He learned that being obserbant helped him gain the upper hand in most things. This look she sported; pity no doubt. Well Severus Snape was in no need of pity or sympathy. His gaze turned hard as he was convinced of such things.

"I told you, I wanted to know if you were alright. Those 'Marauders' are bitches." She said with a sigh. Running a hand through her hair, even though there was no knots, but out of boredom. Couldn't he just answer the question? It was actually sorta rare for her to care about someone she barely knew. But, of course Severus didn't know her enough to notice that. She moved her eyes to the ground, realizing the small mud puddles everywhere. She got goose bumps once more, but ignored it. Then she remembered he called Lily Evans a mud blood. Lily Evans really wasn't her favorite person. His face, it was emotionless. She found that rather odd, but really didn't care.

____She had been admiring the black mark that sat imbedded on her left arm, a skull with a snake protruding out of it’s mouth. This was the Dark mark, a mark that someday soon everyone would quake with fear at the sheer appearance of it. Her finger nail traced it almost lovingly, her black hair was tamed straight for once, and it came down to just passed her shoulders. Her dark heavy-lidded eyes lined with a thin black line, eyeliner, and her pale skin seemed flawless, she was Bellatrix Black, a vain creature indeed.
____She wore the tight fitting Hogwarts standard girl outfit, the oh so lovely skirt, and fitted vested long sleeve top, her’s bore the Slytherin’s insignia, as it should. Her feet clad in black high heels, she was a very domineering woman, who demanded attention in everyway.
____She had joined the Dark Lord’s ranks last year, and climbed quickly, she was out to prove she was more loyal than the others. She wanted nothing more than see, /Her/ Lord, achieve his goal. She wanted to make sure that the Mudbloods were snuffed out. She believed full heartedly, that the disgrace of blood tainting was punishable by death, of course that was how she was raised, not that she was complaining. She loved the idea of punishing those who were disgusting, if you mated with a muggle, a foul thing that had no purpose on this earth, you were as bad as those things, and should be treated like one.
____She was also very happy to be apart of a group that aimed to do such snuffing out. Her family, had been proud. Well most of her family, Though her cousin Sirius seemed to not want to have anything to do with her after he found out. Though she was a slightly bit sad at this. The sad feelings were soon banished when he claimed himself a blood traitor and was blasted off the family tree. She was also happy when her blood traitor sister was snuffed out, if she ever got her hands on that woman she would happily end her existence.
_____She also held her family name very high, after all to be a Black meant you were one of the purest bloodlines, and a very respected being. Bellatrix milked this for all it was worth, she demanded she was treated as she was meant to be. She also demanded her sisters act this way too, but it would appear Andromeda, no she wouldn’t speak that blood traitor’s name, wanted to disgrace her family. This made the oldest Black sister sick. She was appalled when Sirius did it, and blamed him for Andromeda’s disobedience.
___None the less, the want-to-be goddess, strolled out to the courtyard on her way to the black lake, she had contemplated not coming back to finish her last year, to run off and join her lord by his side. Yes Miss Bellatrix Black was eighteen. Why was she heading to thus said lake? She was meeting with someone, some one who seemed interested in joining the ranks. She had taken it upon herself to go see if this person was even worth considering for /his/ ranks.
____Her steps were slow and deliberate, as she walked to meet up with Rodolphus who insisted on going with her. Once the man that would be her future husband joined her she continued. She had no love for the man, no as far as love went, she wanted to love and be loved by her lord. That is why she was so loyal to the man. He was strong, well trained in dark magic, and he shared her goals, in her mind they were meant to be, but he had other plans. Plans that only portrayed Bella as his most faithful and respected. She let her mind wander as they walked only offering a dry yes or no, when Rodolphus spoke to her, and she offered a sigh when Rabastan came to join them. This only added to her now present headache.
___She let her eyes dance across all the people in the courtyard and offered a stiff wave when a Slytherin would wave to the trio. Today wasn’t going to be a good day but she was looking forward to the meeting that was suppose to occur tonight.

The mirror; an object of desire for young Carissa Deserae Wildes, it reflected back her bright shining eyes and her luscious locks of hair in the most flattering ways possible. Sitting and staring was undoubtedly vain of her, but she happened to enjoy finding every good detail about her to outweigh the bad. Her slender fingers plucked up a chocolate truffle and pooped it in her mouth, the delightful taste being savored for a few moments before she got another. In fact she had a craving for something a little more, perhaps chocolate dipped strawberries or cherries. Placing down her mirror she shook her head, no, she could not allow herself to give into temptation. Closing the silver lid of her chocolate box she pondered on what was available to do on such a day.
Sitting up in her bed she stretched her legs and let out a stifled yawn, her body was quite comfortable snuggled between her pillows and blankets, but it was time to leave the dorm. She carefully crawled out of her bed and slipped onto the cold floor to get her clothes. She pulled out her heels and the rest of her normal school attire, getting dressed rather quickly to avoid being chilly. With the last touch of pulling on her shiny black shoes, she looked herself over.
There was no the matter of what to do. She looked around and found two books she was supposed to be reading, which were to be turned in by tomorrow. A frown pulled as her pale lips, but she snatched them up anyway. She would read then, just to get caught up on things she was being told to do. Turning, she headed for the door, flipping open the first book to take a peek. “Shit,” She muttered, turning back around to scurry to her trunk to grab her bag and parchment and ink. With one finally thought she grabbed her robes and dashed out of the dorms.
It was easy to not be noticed by many in the heavily crowed corridors of Hogwarts, but today seemed to be a bit still. She could hear her own heels clicking softly on the marble floor as she scanned the pages of her first book. Carissa put no thought into where she was headed and just walked, when she got to where she wanted to be she would know. Her painted black nails drummed on the hard cover of the book, causing a bit of a soothing sensation to come over her. There was no rush, she could easily finish both things by tonight and have plenty of information written out. It was a matter of managing her time.
She pushed against the great oak doors and felt the cool air greet her face, it was quite lovely but she wasn’t paying much attention. Once she reached the stairs, her heel slipped on the edge causing her to stumble and swear loudly. Her head jerked up and she glanced around to see if her clumsiness had been noticed. Biting down on her lower lip she thrust her work into her bag and continued down the steps with much more grace. Her eyes found Bellatrix Black’s figure and many thoughts swarmed her head. It was amazing how much she admired her when she wasn’t even sure if she knew she existed. It was pathetic of her.

Phil watched Thalia's battle of the umberella with poorly disguised interest. To put it bluntly - Phil had been there, done that, got the t-shirt and then got it drenched in the rain. Quite a lot. Now you can see why he didn't seem to bother with the umberella anymore...
"So does GAH mean anything or did it just sound good at the time?"
It was then that Phil realised that he was still grinning like an idiot at Thalia. It didn't really improve his 'image' that he was pretty much soaked to the bone. Congratulations Philip Jacques - you have once again proved youself worthy of the title... KING DORK! Well that was one life achievement easily attained.
Thankfully Phil was saved from doing or saying something else exceptionally stupid by more people coming and joining the group of wet people.
"Hey Marlene." Phil greeted cheerfully, remembering their encounter early this morning. That also reminded Phil that he should really invest in a calender. Then he'd know what day it was instead of making a fool of himself. Again.
Phil then realised that Nex was speaking to him. How come that happened whenever she tried to say anything to him? That was just wierd. And he still had no idea who the hell she was. He was now half listening to the conversation around him while trying to place where Phil had (If he had, that is) seen Nex before. ... the girl with different hair colours? NOW he knew her. "Good to meet you too, Nex."
ooc//Crap post.

[glow=purple,1,000] Marlene laughed. "Yeah. But I love rain. I heard thunder a little while ago," She said, looking up at the sky. "I hope it starts again. Too bad it's hard to see lightning during the day...." she sighed. Night was so much better then day. It was so much more quite and peacfull, and of course lightning was much more visable when the sky was dark. She looked back at Nex again and smiled. "I love your hair, though." She said, reaching out and gently catching a strand of Nex's blue hair. "You're soooooo lucky to be a metamorphagus, Nex. My hair is....blah." She said, running her fingers through her own boring, straight dark hair, which was now soaked and plastered to her face and next in wet strands. Marlene smiled at Phil and gave a small wave. "Hey, Phil. " She said, giving a small wave. She then remembered something. "Oh, yes! Phil, I meant to ask you, when's your next birthday? I'm going to get you a calendar." She winked teasingly at him. [/glow]

'Um. Well. Gah stands for...Oh shit, there's rain. And I didn't realise, and walked straight into it. Then there's the fact I walked under the little overhang thingy and loads decided to drip on me.'
'So. That is the dictionary definition of Gah.'
That was real...Babble. Verbal Diarrhea. Whatever you wanted to call it. Oh well. Good enough. It was then she realised that Phil was drenched. She held the umbrella over both of them. Not like it did much good at this point. She pointed her wand at his clothes and hair. Really, she just wanted to use the charm she had just recently mastered. But it came in handy.
It was then she realised Francesca was talking to Snivellus. She, weirdly, found the name very suiting. She opened her mouth to address him, but closed it. Not a good idea, when Bellatrix Black was around. She was one to hex anyone who insulted any Slytherin. And Thalia was not in the mood for burning boils in weird places.

Nex laughed“I know what you mean, you know of me right?” she grinned towards Thalia. She quickly resumed some of her attention to Phil; it was odd for so many people to be around at once. Nex pondered if her blue hair was the cause of this, maybe it was a magnet for people... or she was just thinking stupid things again, Nex chose the second option
“Thanks how are you... this lovely rainy day?” she asked. Well that was a unique question; Nex could be boring in the subject of conversation sometimes. Except for the latest person she legged it from after announcing she was there love child she had bugger all to talk about, speaking of that she hadn’t played that game in a while. She made a mental note to do that later.
“Aw thanks Marly, your hairs lovely though.” She grinned at her friend unsure of what else to talk about. What could she say? Nex looked around for inspiration, she saw Severus and blurted out the first thing that came to mind. “I love Severus Snape” she said calmly, then wondered why the heck she said that... to get a reaction? Because she just had to have 3 cups of coffee instead of tea and extra sugar on her cereal? Maybe, but she felt slightly guilty for saying it and quickly changed the subject “So how’s life everyone? Anyone wanna play a game I made up? Just a warning though, we may piss of a few people.”

Thalia stared at Nex. "You love....Snivvy?" Okay. Weird. Maybe greasy hair and hooked noses turned on some people. Who was she to judge?
She shuddered. Yes. She would judge. Just this once.
Trying to cure her newfound mental sickness, she decided to try and change the subject. "Um, sure? As long as this doesn't involve weird scenarios where I wake up later, with no memory of the past few hours, and a pig lying next to me.' Sure, that was weird. She was ill though. Verbal Diarrhea. And shouldn't she be able to state what she would and would not do?
So maybe the pig thing was a bit drastic. But it surely had happened somewhere in the world at some point.
