SOME PEOPLE NEVER CHANGE.[/size] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Quickly pulling her hair up into a messy pony tail, Francesca let herself fall onto her bed, obviously tired. It was another year at Hogwarts, and she was already stuck with lots of home work, which was really pissing her off greatly.
Looking to the window as she heard rough scratching, Francesca really didn't want to get up and look at it. One of her dorm mates could do it when they got back. But unfortunately, the scratching continued.
"God damn it you fucking bastard, I'm coming." Francesca muttered, to the owl, as she stood up and headed to the window.
Rolling her eyes, noticing the owl immediately, it was her parents. Her small fingers held the window open as it flew in, dropped the letter on the bed, and flew back out. Unwillingly heading to the bed, Francesca grabbed the letter and opened it.
'Dear Francesca,
As your parents, we are of course writing to you. Seeing as you cannot carry on our surname at all, being a female, you will be married to a lovely, amazing pure blood family, the Averys. You know their son, the handsome Noah, knowing him from your childhood, and will marry him after you graduate Hogwarts. We will write to you here and there to check up on your relationship with him and see if you are happening to be better acquaintances.

Francesca's eyes grew large, staring at the letter. The small piece of parchment fell to the floor as anger boiled inside of her. Pulling open the door quickly, screaming a 'Ugh!' as she sprinted through the Ravenclaw common room. This was all Noah's fault, it was his fault because of this stupid marriage, all because he had to be a pure blood male.
Clearly, Francesca wasn't thinking straight, she was planning what to scream at Noah first.
"Fuck him. Fuck Noah and his stupid fucking blood. Damn him being born." Francesca whispered under her breath, heading quickly to the Slytherin Common Room.
First of all, was the hell was wrong with her parents? Second, why did the fuck did they have to tell her through a letter?
Francesca couldn't even think of an answer for those questions.
Getting to the Slytherin Common room door, Francesca crossed her arms impatiently.
"Some one open this fucking god damn door!" She yelled to really no one, considering she was alone in a hall way looking like an idiot. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[/center] and she's so fine - haine!

This steady beat of a bouncy ball against the wall was the only sound to be heard in the Slytherin dormitories, aside from the quiet breathing of one Noah Avery. As was his custom, he was bored and alone, sitting on his bed while, of course, neglecting his potions essay. Eh. Professor Slughorn'd give him an extra two days if Noah asked right. Therefore there was no need to rush.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Damn.
Noah missed the ball as it came back towards him and it rolled away and under someone's bed. With a sigh, he moved off his own bed and went to look for the ball.
"Uhm... Excuse me?" The voice seemed to have come from nowhere, yet this was more likely due to the fact that Noah had his head stuck under a bed. And was fighting off some mega-evil dustbunnies.
"What?" Noah asked impatiently, now sitting cross-legged on the floor. The magical voice seemed to have come from a first year boy (Nigel ...something-something...), who was now staring nervously down at him.
"I was told to give this to a Noah Avery?" The boy was holding a letter that indeed did have his name on. Noah stood up quickly, grabbing the letter and then dismissing the boy. Or, as you and I would call it, staring at the poor kid until he left.
Noah picked up his ball then went back to sit on his bed and read the letter.
My Dear Noah,
I have great news! You, of course, will remember Francesca, the Arlington's girl? Of course you do. Lovely girl. Always seemed slightly quiet though. You two were always close growing up, weren't you?
Well, both her parents and yours have decided- you two are going to be married! Once you both finish Hogwarts, of course.
I know that you two will now try and become much better acquaintances.

Ah-Bu-Wha-Shi- FRANCESCA.
This was all her fault. He couldn't yet think of why, let alone anything logical at the moment, yet it was her fault nonetheless.
Noah read the letter over and over again, hoping against hope that this really was just all one big trick. Just as he was debating whether or not to go see if Francesca had received a similiar letter, Nigel something-something had returned.
"Excuse me, Noa- uh, Mr. Avery?"
"Yes, Nigel?"
"There's some crazy lady yelling at us to let her in."
"...And?"
"Should we let her?"
"Why are you asking me?"
"Because you're the only one in the dungeons aside from me."
"Will you leave me alone if I go deal with it?"
"Yes, sir."
God it was fun intimidating the younger years. Cursing under his breath, Noah once again forced himself off his bed, out of the dormitory and across the common room to the portrait hole.
There was, as Nigel had said, a crazy lady on the other side of the entrance. And he didn't even need to open the door to be able to tell who. Which is exactly why Noah didn't.
For there was only one reason why Cess would ever come down to the Slytherin common room. And that was for him. And seeing as she sounded pissed, it was much better (For Noah, at least...) to keep something solid between the two.
"Can we help you at all, Cess?" Noah eventually called back through the
portrait hole. Nigel had decided to hide behind him.

Rolling her eyes, keeping her arms crossed securely, she heard a voice.
"Don't you fucking call me Cess. And open this god damn door. Now! Or I'll go find some guy and dress him up in a clown suit and stuff him in there." Francesca threatened, glaring at the door. She didn't want to marry him. It was like marrying a donkey. Annoying, loud and smelly. Well, in her view.
"You little bastard. You know damn well this is your fault. So open the fucking door. Or your little mommy and daddy will receive a very long letter how their little Noahie is being a bastard to his future wife." She threatened once more, then starting to chew on her lip.
"I'm sure mommy and daddy wouldn't appreciate that very much, darling." Francesca snapped, waiting for him to open the door. God, if she really had to marry this guy, it was going to be annoying. Next thing you know, Francesca was going to be locked out of the house in a couple of years.
Wait. Shit. No. She was not marrying Noah. No Francesca Avery. Never.
Okay. That was her conclusion.
Yawning, Francesca stared at the door impatiently. Oh Merlin, she was now imagining a marriage with Noah. With lots of yelling. And pranking. And attacking. She really didn't want her future to have a lot of screaming, she already had to deal with screaming already.

Noah and Nigel quickly exchanged glances as the voice started to yell again from the other side of the entrance. Both of them clearly thought that she was insane.
"Fine then, Franky. But before I let you in, you've got to turn down the language. We've got an innocent first year here and you're ruining his young innocent mind."
Noah paused for a moment, quickly turning back to Nigel, who was still hiding behind him.
"You are innocent, aren't you?" He whispered.
"... I think so," was Nigel's eventual reply.
Good enough.
...
The clown card.
That was low. Very low.
Yet Noah still couldn't help but wonder what kind of person would actually allow themselves to be forced into a clown suit by Francesca then paraded down to the slytherin common room, when Noah would then close the portrait hole in their faces. Or, more likely, get Nigel to do it while Noah went and hid behind a couch. Then again, neither of them were currently feeling stupid enough to actually let the 'crazy lady' inside.
Shit.
It finally truly dawned on Noah that the crazy lady was meant to one day be the first Mrs. Noah Avery. He may as well go kill himself now. I mean, come on. Sure Francesca had her good points (Which Noah would come up with later) yet for the most part she was whiny, short-tempered and pretty damn well evil. He knew that first hand. Was this the kind of person that Noah wanted to spend the rest of his life with? Of course not. If she didn't break down the door and eat him now, Noah knew for a fact that she would probably kill him as soon as they got out of Hogwarts. If he even lasted that long...
"Go sit down," Noah instructed Nigel, his voice a sharp whisper.
Nigel stared at him like an idiot. "Why?"
"Because," Because if Cess did try and kill him, Noah wanted Nigel to stay there as a witness. Either way, the 'because' was more than enough for Nigel, who went running to the nearest chair and watched anxiously from there.
Now he just needed a weapon. For self defence, of course. Or just in case he got desperate. Nigel would know to claim self defence anyway. He was good like that. The nearest thing that Noah could find was a pale purple umberella with a blue and pink plaid pattern on it.
Not exactly his tastes, yet it would do the trick nonetheless.
And with that he opened the portrait hole to the fuming Francesca. Oooh. Alliteration.
"There. Now get in."

Frowning, Francesca looked up at the ceiling.
"Okay, Noahie-bear, and who gives a fu-...fudge about the first year." Francesca teased, raising an eyebrow curiously. Yes, she probably would curse and scream once she got into the common room. Backing up slowly, Francesca started to lean on the cold wall. She started to hum, though it would help if some other Slytherin came along and opened to door. Which meant that she would probably have to sneak in, and that wouldn't be so easy.
It was rather cold down here, and what the hell was going through Salazar Slytherin's mind when he chose common rooms?
"You know, I could leave right now, send the letter to your mother, get the clown, and come back." Francesca suggested, a small smile started to form at the idea.
"Or not." Francesca said, a smirk taking over the smile. Walking in, she went towards Noah. Looking to the umbrella, moving closer to him, about seven inches away, a chuckle escape.
"Oh yes, I'm so scared. An umbrella and a first year, that is terrifying. What happened? Sat on your wand and broke it, darling?" Francesca hissed, cocking her head, staring at him with genuine curiosity.
Looking to the chair quickly, she looked back to Noah. Walking over to the chair, she knelled down. Reaching out and holding his jaw with her right hand gently, that little mischievous smirk staying put.
"Now, who is this, Noahie-bear? Oh my, are you holding another child hostage? Tut tut, my dear, misbehaving again." Francesca lied, slowly looking to Noah.

Noah just scowled. "No," he said eventually, "I did not break my wand. Yet seeing as we wanted to know who -or what- was making the racket, I left it on my bed. Happy now?"
Of course not. Francesca was never happy. And neither of them certainly were in these conditions. "Anyway, you try and find something better than an umberella and a scared first year in such short notice."
Nigel of course helped out by looking the complete opposite of scared. The wierd kid looked like he was actually enjoying himself, watching these two fight. He was still grinning, even when Cess had hold of his face. "I'm Nigel Me-" he said happily, only to have Noah cut across him.
"Nigel, don't talk to strangers."
Shame. That could have been the day when Noah actually learnt Nigel's surname. Noah then went over to the two, having remained with the umberella by his space by the entrance, and semi-carefully pulled Cess to her feet, steering her towards the seat furthest away from Nigel.
"If you hadn't noticed, this is our common room, not yours," he started, "Which means that we have some rules for you to follow." Rules that Noah had yet to make up. Slowly, he walked back to the seat next to Nigel, draping his long legs over the armrest. The umberella remained next to him - just in case."Such as no tormenting Nigel, no calling me Noahie or Noahie-bear, no lying in front of Nigel, and no making Nigel leave the room. And the swearing ban is still up."
"Now let's get down to business."

"Sure you did." Francesca said contently, looking down only to realize she wasn't wearing shoes. But blue bunny slippers. Great.
Biting her bottom lip gently, Francesca quickly looked back up.
"There is that little thing called a broom, you know. It's rather handy, flies you from point A to point B, across a river, through the woods, over a mountain, hitting some one in the head will it, all that neat stuff." Francesca replied, moving her eyes lazily to the ceiling.
Smiling, Francesca politely waved to Nigel, really, there was no reason to be mad at Nigel.
"Hello Nigel. I'm Francesca." She replied, sending a glare to Noah's direction.
"Oh really now? Strangers? Knowing someone for eleven years isn't the exact definition of stranger." Francesca snapped, crossing her arms.
"Oi! You fucking bastard! Get your filthy hands off of me!" Francesca screamed as Noah pulled her away, and her only option was to sit down in the chair. Huffing a sigh, Francesca plopped down in the chair, still glaring at Noah.
"Last time I checked, you didn't own it." Francesca murmured, not really caring if he heard or not. "Oh great! Rules, aren't just over-joyed?" She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes with obvious annoyance. Eyes widening, she thought of words with her jaw dropped, then, a smirk appeared.
"Ooh, Over-protective of little Nigel, are you? I must say, he is rather adorable. No Franky, No Noahie, no promises on Noahie-bear. I..I do not lie! Pft! Where did you get that from? No wonder all you Slytherins are pissy and quiet, these rules are restricting you from everything!" Francesca said with her jaw dropping once more. "This is your fault." Francesca simply stated.

Feeling something lightly hit the side of her head, Francesca looked at Noah and burst out laughing.
"Pathetic, Noah." Francesca teased, a large smile remaining on her lips.
"What? Nigel will probably be swearing every two seconds in a matter of years." Francesca snapped, looking to Nigel. "It's a pathetic thing that protects you from rain." Francesca pointed out, raising her chin slightly. Jumping slightly as the pipe creaked, her eyes grew large at the sounds. "Dear Merlin." She murmured, rolling her eyes.
"Psycho? I'm sane, I'm normal, you however, are the the complete opposite. And if you weren't so damn protective of him, I wouldn't be a stranger. " Francesca snapped, staring at Noah madly. "Well I don't know! It's either rules or all of you guys are magically on your period for the rest of your lives!" Francesca exclaimed, rubbing her eyes with a sigh. Shivering, Francesca frowned. "God damn it, you guys don't use a heating spell?" She said, rubbing her hand up her arms.
Raising an eyebrow, she cocked her head. "So, if I currently dragged you into the Ravenclaw common room, locked the doors, I could boss you around also?" Francesca asked curiously, smiling slightly. "I would be rather entertained to see what you would boss me around to do." Francesca said truthfully, looking up and staring at the ceiling once more.
Smirking at his reaction, she thought carefully. "Well, how is it my fault?" She asked calmly, standing up, looking at him.

"I'm sorry that my aim is so crappy and didn't miss your large mouth," Noah snapped, crumpling up another peice of carelessly discarded parchment. "And forget the swearing ban, since you've got me started too." Sadly Noah couldn't argue with Francesca about that at all. Nigel would most definitely be swearing as much -if not more- than they did in a short matter of time.
Yet the kid's innocence may as well be saved while it could.
Oh god.
Now Noah was going to have to teach Francesca - and, most likely, Nigel too - the facts of life. "Uhm... Franky? We're guys. We don't get periods. And I think the fact is that we just aren't used to having insane Ravenclaws try and break our freaking door down." He couldn't help but smirk slightly, watching her shiver. "Is it cold? We hadn't noticed. Had we, Nigel?"
Nigel shook his head, currently unwilling to say anything. As interesting as this was to watch, the Francesca lady was considered to be quite intimidating.
Noah sighed when Nigel failed to respond. "I think that means that he'd rather keep you as a stranger." he said, unable to stop the smirk turning into a full-on grin. Nigel had the occasional funny moment like this. Good kid.
Noah soon regained his composure, choking out a slightly muffled 'sure, fine, whatever.' as he tried to repress the grin. He would probably learn to regret those words later, if Cess and her twisted mind decided to try out the Ravenclaw common room experiment.
"I have no idea how it's your fault, yet it's certainly not mine!"
Noah's reasoning skills were pretty damn epic.

Francesca said, cocking her head with a smirk. With a delighted sigh, Francesca rotated her body so she was side ways, legs hanging over the arm.
"Though so." She said lazily, staring straight up at the ceiling. "This common is rather...boring, you know. Needs a bit more color." Francesca murmured randomly. As some hair fell in front of her eyes, Francesca brushed away quickly, rolling her eyes.
"Don't call me Franky, you bastard. Hense the 'magically' I said. You get the bitchyness, but not the blood, genius. Sure, sure. Because normal people go around being concieted, hexing everyone, and are smart asses. And I'm not insane." Francesca said calmly, not taking her eyes off of the ceiling. This was starting to get rather boring, well, to her at least. "You fucking weirdo never cold people. What are you? Fish?" She muttered, closing her eyes and tapping her fingers lightly on the chair.
Raising an eyebrow, Francesca stood up swiftly as he blamed her without a reason. Walking over to him, Francesca slapped him without hesitation. "This is not my fault. You and your god damn penis are the reason this happened." She snapped, staring at him with disbelief.

Rolling her eyes, she stretched her arms out lazily. “Yes. And that is never a good thing.” She snapped, “Well, you are under a lake, as I remember correctly.”. This was honestly getting boring, arguing about fish instead of normal things.
“It is your fault because you’re the god damn guy! And you and your stupid parents need to at least attempt to be smart and get normal lives! I mean, seriously! Like I would want to marry you either! Noah stared blankly at Francesca, unsure that he was capable of doing anything else at the moment. Sure, having known her so long, he was well aware that she was pretty much a bitch around him, yet the boy did not know (and did not want to know how she came by it) that she had such a foul mouth or dirty imagination.
...
Well, the dirty imagination was probably due to Thorfinn. Most problems were.
"You really are one hell of a pervert." was all that Noah said, after he realised that he couldn't remember any of the times spent with Thorfinn all those years ago. Unfortunately for him, this then meant that he could neither agree with or disagree with what Francesca had said.
Let's pray that it wasn't true.
"Really?" Noah drawled, looking up at the ceiling boredly, "Yet being a bitch has worked so well for you!" coincidentally, this was said while Cess continued to prove the whole 'bitch' thing. He couldn't help but laugh at parts of it, though. "Since when did I kill rabbits? Francesca was well aware of how she was acting, to be honest, this was completely normal for her. Being a bitch just made it all more fun, and gave her a small reason for her to be her still. He was downright correct about Thorfinn ruining her mind, but Thorfinn was Thorfinn, it was expected from him for the most part. “Like I haven’t noticed I am, m’dear. But Merlin only knows what you possibly do with that Nigel boy.” Francesca replied, a large grin staying on her lips.
“Shut up, you bastard, like you’re any better than me, you go around, I am sure Mary Macdonald would love to agree that you’re worse. Now, have your parents discovered your little accident with Mary that you and your little friends caused?” Francesca snapped, her smiling fading quickly. “Well, what else could you possibly kill? You’re rather sadistic, yes? I assume you would kill any animal you could get your hands on. You don’t even know me that well, actually. You probably asked them to set us up.” Francesca stared at him, a small smirk forming now.
Francesca’s face soon went blank as he walked up to her. “Neither.” She said firmly, her heart starting to pound quickly, feeling her face get rather pinkish. Francesca didn’t have her wand, and he had muscle and height advantage, and those two combined weren’t exactly great for her.
