The large, brick red engine makes the run from King's Cross Station to the Hogsmeade Station twice a year. You never know who you'll run into when looking for an empty compartment.

All First Years arrive at Hogwarts by crossing over the lake in a boat, guided by the lights of their lanterns and a helping hand... or tentacle.

Being the main hall in the castle, it has an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside and is occupied by five tables. One for each house and one for the staff.

Rows upon rows of desks where students are confined for hours at a time, listening to boring lecture after boring lecture. Needless to say, these kids would much rather be somewhere else.

Often bustling with students between classes, these hallways can become hard to navigate. You can always duck into the occasional broom closet for a quick escape.

A magical room that can only be accessed by those who are in need of it, the Room of Requirements is always different in appearance depending on who happens across it.

After a tumble in the Quidditch pitch or down those moving stairs, a student usually spends the night in one of the hospital beds lining the walls. Madame Pomfrey can mend just about anything.

The library's shelves are home to tens of thousands of books, frequented by the average bookworm. And with a note from the teacher, you're even free to peruse the restricted section.

The kitchens are staffed by over a hundred house elves, bustling between the mounds of brass pots and pans heaped around the walls. It's the place to go when you're faced with a midnight craving.

The owlery is located in one of the draftiest towers in the stone castle. Owls of every breed imaginable are nestled in the perches lining the wall.

Dark, gloomy, mysterious, and off-limits for all students. That doesn't stop the occasional troublemaker from being lured into it's dark depths, though.

The perfect place for a sexy midnight swim or an innocent picnicking spot. The lake is home to the Giant Squid and merpeople among other creatures, so don't swim out too far.

A small wizarding village, only minutes away from Hogwarts, is the center of attention on most Saturdays. The coffee shops and restaurants are the perfect spots for a date, and you can't leave without a stop at Honeyduke's or Zonkos.

This is where the Minister of Magic conducts all of Britain's magical business. Most witches and wizards make a living within its walls. A common reason for students visiting the Ministry is due to a hearing.

Any dead threads'll get moved here. We don't want them cluttering up our pretty boards, now do we?
