First and foremost;
This is a semi-literate to literate forum.
It is within our rights to reject your application if it doesn't live up to our expectations.
Registration
- When making an account, your username and display name should be what you would like us to call you here on the forum.
- Before your application has been accepted, we would appreciate it if you would refrain from posting in any in character threads.
[/li][li] USE THE APPLICATION FORM PROVIDED. If you edit it in any way, your character will not be accepted and Haine will be forced to set Katelyn on you. [/b]

General
- Don't argue with the admin. If you have a problem, try to be civil about it and I'm sure we can always work things out or come to some sort of compromise.
- Stay active! At least one post a week is expected from everyone.
- If you are going to be gone for more than a week, please let us know by posting in the Vacation board. If your account is inactive for more than a month without notice, we will send an e-mail notifying you that it will be deleted within a week.
- We all know there are going to be occasional disagreements, but please, keep it to the PMs.
- Keep in mind that the admin can see IP Addresses both on the site and in the Cbox. If you are found to be abusing either or breaking rules, you can easily be banned from one or both.
- No spamming or advertising on the Cbox.
- We are a mature forum, meaning that swearing, and sexually explicit content shall be allowed here. However, when making a very graphic thread, please post (mature content) at the end of the title in brackets.
Roleplaying
- Please, no one-liners. We expect each post to be at least 2 paragraphs and if you were accepted, then you're certainly capable of it.
- If you create an account, please be sure to post your first character application and celebrity face claim within 2 weeks unless you would like your account to be deleted.
- Please refrain from creating characters that are related to any canons unless they are mentioned in the books.
- Keep in mind that when we are reviewing your application, we are not judging based on literacy alone. Be creative! Not every character has to be misplaced. (ie: A Slytherin who really belongs in Gryffindor.)
- I will probably very tempted to shoot you if your character is a Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu. So to avoid any injuries, please, please, please do not make a perfect character.
- If you intend to create a character that is any sort of mythical creature or half-breed (vampire, veela, werewolf, etc.), you must have it approved by an admin. This can easily be done by PMing a brief history of how/why your character is this way to an admin. This also stands true if your character has any sort of power beyong their regular magical ability (metamorphmagus, animagus, etc.).
- Any "special powers" must be applicable to the Harry Potter universe! Things like mind reading, mind control, etc are not going to be accepted. We're also not going to accept any applications for characters who claim to know magic FAR above their age. This sort of falls under the "Mary-sue" thing...
- Canon characters and playby claims must be reserved unless you want someone else to take your character/playby!
- Please use a third person point of view when roleplaying.
