When Lily was very young, she became afraid of thunderstorms. Over the course of her young teenage life, every thunderstorm has been a horrific memory. But the worst of all would most likely be from her third year at Hogwarts. While walking outside with a few friends, it began to ran. The girls began to run for the cover of the trees of the Forbidden Forest, hoping to only stay there a few moments while the shower passed. Unfortunately, the storm grew worse, and within a matter of moments, thunder and lightning were flashing across the sky. Lily, terrified, made a dash for the nearby Gamekeeper's hut, but before she even left the cover of the trees, lightning struck a nearby tree, causing it to fall nearly on top of her. Shaken and crying, Lily managed to escape the event with only a twisted ankle and a few shaking whimpers.
Patronus:
Lion (Lions symbolize strong family ties, strength, courage, energy, ferocity and assertion of feminine power, all of which Lily believes in or has). Most likely, Lily's happiest memory would be when she ran through the barrier to the train at the start of her first year at Hogwarts. She'd been extremely jealous of her brothers the previous year, and the sense of accomplishment, the excitement that ran through her as she rushed through the barrier is a feeling she will never, ever forget.
Strengths:
Charms and hexes (like her mother),
flying (like both parents),
quidditch (like both parents),
potions (like her grandmother).
Weaknesses:
History (who the hell likes that?),
Her temper (like her mother, Lily can lose it with the slightest provocation),
Hopeless romantic (Lily likes to be romanced, so if a guy were to pull the moves, she'd most likely fall for him).
Goals:
Join the Gryffindor quidditch team,
become an Auror like her father.
Personality:
She's tough, not in an unpleasant way, but she's gutsy. Lily's funny, and she's very warm and compassionate. With her friends, Lily is always cracking jokes, and usually has a few blunt or sarcastic remarks that usually end with laughs, rather than scorn. She means well when she picks fun, and her friends know that and accept her. Lily also is a very open-minded girl, and very innocent. Also, she's friends with pretty much anyone; although many think that some of the people Lily may befriend are rather strange, Lily still finds herself friends with them and enjoying their companionship. That alone makes Lily a very rare soul, for it's not often that you'll find someone who will look past the reputation of someone and offer them friendship. Lily, however, likes to go against the grain and make herself original. Being the only girl among her siblings, and the daughter of first girl born under the Weasley name in ages and the legendary Harry Potter, Lily was born to be different.
Lily's also grown out of her shyness that haunted her younger years. The breaking point was most likely when she got over the teasing of her brothers and began to accept herself and date at Hogwarts. Lily's brothers used to pick on her and tease her - though don't think for a moment that they don't love their little sister to pieces - and so Lily never thought that anyone would be interested in her. Not only that, but any crushes that her brothers found out about were exploited and made fun of. Because, hey, that's what big brothers are for. But since she turned fourteen, Lily has grown to be more confident, and ever since she began to date, she's discovered that she has a lot to offer. She's a smart girl, and she knows it. It was this, perhaps, that allowed guys around Hogwarts to see the real Lily that she would offer them as a girlfriend - and in the future, as something more. But for now, Lily has found that she's just fine being friends with most guys, and she's waiting for the one guy that will lift her off her feet. Lily is a hopeless romantic, and she wants someone to romance her.
Lily is selfless, and she will always help a friend in need. She is the one that can sometimes get people to open up and will provide advice when someone else hasn't taken the opportunity to step in before her. And Lily will usually give sound advice; she's got a good head on her shoulders, and is a lot like her mother. To say the least, Lily's a very free-spirited young woman. She's open and proud of who she is, and now that she's finally come out of her shell, others are starting to see that. She's become a striking young woman that people can admire and look up to, and apparently that guys want to date. When in a relationship, Lily's much like she is with her friends, though she doesn't mind getting a little cozy on the couch. She's not the kind of girl to just go around snogging any guy she meets, so Lily knows where to draw the line and is old enough to make the decision of when she wants to cross it, if she makes that decision.

History:
Lily was the third and last child born to the Potter family, and like her mother, was the only girl. Being born to such a famous father, Lily has had a lot to live up to. But she doesn't really let that pressure her. She tries to do whatever she can to make her parents proud of her, and they seem to be proud of her no matter what she does. Lily grew up with two older brothers, James and Albus. While the trio are quiet close, the brothers have always done their share of teasing when it comes to their younger sister. Which, of course, Ginny and Harry Potter try desperately to keep things from getting bad between their children, and it's not that difficult. Mostly, Albus and James believe that, as older brothers, it's their duty to be protective and to make fun of her and tease her every now and then. They love her to death, regardless.
Having a happy childhood was something any Potter child could have expected after everything their father went through as a child. Since Harry Potter had lost both parents and was brought up by his muggle aunt and uncle, who hated any and every thing having to do with magic, Lily and her brothers were raised with nothing but the best. Lily got a lot of attention as a child, which was equally said for her brothers, and she was also among the few children of a wizarding family that grew up with exposure to muggles. Lily loved going to see her grandfather (from Ginny's side, obviously) and listen to his tales about muggles and all his explorations and experiments with muggle things. And listening to her father and Uncle Ron talk about the flying car that her grandfather created could occupy little Lily Potter for hours! She's certainly a curious little girl who's hungry to learn information, and she's not prejudice against muggles.
When her brothers went off to Hogwarts, Lily was much like her mother was when she was little and all her brothers had gone off to school. She was extremely jealous, and demanded that her brothers tell her any and every thing about Hogwarts in letters and over breaks when they came home. Her parents tried to keep her occupied while her brothers were gone, and spent most of the time during the week with her grandparents and spending time with her Uncle Fred at his joke shop. His influence on her seems to have been similar to his influence on Ginny: she's in love with practical jokes. Lily is a sweet girl, but she likes to play jokes on her friends. And when her brothers started picking on her a lot more, teasing her about not being able to go to Hogwarts, she started taking a few leafs from Uncle Fred's book. There was one Christmas in particular - the last Christmas before Lily started Hogwarts - where Lily gave her brother innocently disguised new versions of the Skiving Snackboxes. Unfortunately, it was too late before Ginny and Harry realized the familiar sweets. Needless to say, Lily was grounded for a little while... though her parents couldn't keep the grins off their faces as they gave out Lily's sentence.
Hogwarts was always a great experience for Lily - save for whenever it thunder stormed really bad. She enjoyed making new friends and learning about magic, and seemed to soak up knowledge like a sponge. Lily was very talented in Charms, and took after her mother in her abilities to cast hexes and jinxes. She also seemed to have gotten her name-sake's talent for potion-making. Lily has always been aware of the rivalry between the Malfoy and Potter/Weasley families, but she doesn't let it affect her. Over the course of her time at Hogwarts, Lily has managed to hold her own against anyone that doesn't like her, and make her parents proud of her. Now she returns for her fourth year of school, knowing that there might be even more around the corner, considering she seems to have blossomed quiet a bit over summer break.

There were only a handful of us now. The surnames beginning with 'W' were here before I knew it. Nervousness, a bit of fright, and excitement spread through me. My small, delicate palms began to perspire and I wiped them on my newly tailored uniform robes, pretending to smoothen out creases. The other first years who were waiting to be sorted seemed calmer to me. I turned my head to the Gryffindor table. They seemed like a cheerful group. Much too cheerful for me, perhaps with proudness smeared all over their gleaming faces. Then, I gazed towards the Badgers' table. Quite opposite, if you asked me. Humbleness is what I received from many of their bashful looks. They were much quieter, also. A lifestyle I preferred and wanted. As the sorting hat exclaimed, "Ravenclaw!" for a student, I followed her with my eyes to the blue and bronze decorated table she sat at. Like the Hufflepuffs, they were quiet, but instead of shyness, nobleness emitted from them. Lastly, I turned my attention to the Slytherin table. Everything about them said 'prestigious', 'elegant', and 'superior'. Their cleanliness, posture, looks...
"Weasley, Cassandra," a bored voice echoed from the thin lipped, stern looking witch who wore her hair in a neat, tight bun on top of her head. I swallowed a lump in my throat and quickly straightened my witch's hat, which repeatedly kept slipping on my silky, blond hair before gracefully walking up to the stool where I would soon learn of my placing. All thoughts escaped my mind as I sat upright on the wooden seating. The lady, whose name I was not able to catch due to my thoughts about the houses which filled my head, took a moment to stable the sorting hat on my hair after I took off my point witch's hat. A musty stench emanated from the tattered hat as the rip on the front of it opened to speak. "Can never have too many Weasleys, now can we?" the hat mused. This made me blush profusely. Not in a bashful way, however. But also not too upset. More of an embarrassment. I realized that I was the first Weasley to be sorted this year. Or, I believed. There were too many to keep track of. Of course, relatives of various surnames were maybe sorted a few moments ago, but not a Weasley. Our family is large.
"Hmm... Not much like the previous ones, thought, I must say," the sorting hat continued, causing my feelings to change drastically. i could feel a very content smile appear on my face and perhaps a small smirk. I never fancied being like the rest. "Plenty of wit, yes, and would be excellent for Ravenclaw," the hat began again. 'Ravenclaw doesn't seem too bad,' I thought, thinking this was his final decision. "But I see that your desire is to use most of it towards personal gain and matters, which can only mean," it continued, causing my hands to sweat again, and my heart to beat rapidly, "Slytherin!" it bellowed, quite dramatically. At first, I was in shock or more of surprise. Then, it made much sense to me as I slid off the stool. My movement caused the sorting hat to slip off of my head and land on the stool with an upset grunt. I paid it no heed and strode off to the applauding table. It was obvious I fit into the house which I admired most.
