It all ends today. . . Yes, it all ends today. Today's the day when dreaming ends.
Well this sucked. Ever since what happened with Autumn, Phil had pretty much been walking around in a complete daze. He was too lost in his thoughts for anyone's own good and had been distant to the world, intentional or not. See? This proved that thinking was a bad thing. All that came of it was headaches, the truth, and hunger. Yet the latter was more due to the fact that Phil had missed breakfast. And lunch, for that matter. Bugger.
He still had no idea what the hell to do about this whole thing. Every option ended up with Phil either dead, alone... or dead in an even worse way. The boy sat by himself under a tree, staring blankly out at the lake. Luckily people had managed to get the hint to bugger off and leave the git in peace. Yet now that they had... what next?
ooc//Crap as Phil's once again being unco-operative. -.-

Well today was brilliant. Fell down four stairs. Landed at Mr. Sirius Black's feet. No, on his feet. Then walked into Peter. Put her shoes on the wrong feet. Could today get to her anymore?
Leann was merrily walking towards her.
Why yes, today could get worse. Oh no. That was the GOSSIP! face.
"What, Leann?" Thalia said, leaning against a pillar in what could only be called a state of utter boredom.
"Guess what I found out? You'll love me for this. I think."
"What, Leann?" Thalia asked, feigning mock interest.
"Well. Okay. I heard from Siobhan who heard from Keri who heard from Octavius who heard from Damocles who heard from Rosie that Autumn and Phil were like, kissing and shizz last night in the astronomy tower!" Leann finished, looking pleased with herself.
Joy.
Wait.
Phil. Autumn. Kissing and shizz.
"Thanks, Leann," she muttered as she stalked off in search of her victim. She knew where to find him.
Stalking outside, eyes narrowed, she scanned the grounds. There he was. Stalking over to the tree, eyes still narrowed, she seemed to be drawing attention to herself.
Now within earshot of Phil, she made herself known.
"YOU."

There were a few possibilities as to what Phil could do about the situation. He could tell Thalia (and get killed), not do anything about it (and feel guilty), or do something stupid like change his name to Miguel and spend the rest of his days in a cave in Tibet. Sure it was a crap idea, but it was one of the few possibilities that there were. So far the second option seemed most likely. It required little action, little pain and little else. Sure, Phil'd be living a lie for the rest of his life, yet right now who really gives a damn?
He let out an aggravated groan, choosing to finally give up on the subject, at least for now. Phil reached for the book sitting next to him and tried to remember what page he was up to. It was forty... something. No- Seventy something. Wait a minute. The page number had a nine in it. Bugger.
Phil then startied to flick aimlessly through random pages, having lost hope of the words actually sinking in. It was pretty much quiet around here until, of course, she happened to find him. One single word from Thalia and Phil knew that he was going to die. Not of course that he didn't deserve it, but still. He was pretty much terrified. "Me?" Smooth, idiot.

Thalia looked as if she could raze a city with her gaze. Ah, she was so poetic when she was pissed off.
"Don't play dumb! I just heard from LEANN. LEANN GODDAMNIT. That you and Autumn were kissing and shizz in the Astronomy Tower. Do you wish to elaborate on the 'Kissing and Shizz'? Or do I have to hear that from someone else as well?" Thalia ranted, stepping closer, ignoring the looks she was getting from people. The could all jump into off some tall building at this point.
But...Why was Autumn...Kissing him? Because she's a bitch? Questioned some little voice in her head.
After Thalia caged up aforementioned voice, she mentally went through these problems. Problem number 1: She and Phil hardly acted like they were going out. Problem number 2: Autumn was there. Voice in her head decide to insert BITCH! in there as well. Problem number 3: Thalia was a year younger. That probably mattered.
Well. What a lovely list.

Phil was exceptionally tempted to point out that first, he was not playing dumb and it was more to the point that the sod knew he was going to die exceptionally soon. And second, since when did Thalia ever listen to Leann of all people? Of course he chose against saying this, knowing that it would make the overall amount of pain and suffering a hell of a lot worse. Instead he slowly stood up, moving to lean against the tree while he at least attempted to organize his thoughts and think of something to say that wouldn't get him killed.
Phil let out a silent sigh, looking out over the black lake. He couldn't bring himself to look at Thalia right now. "We talked about shit. And then shit happened. It doesn't get any more elaborate." ... Vague. Goddammit. Now he really was going to die for that.

Oh for God's sake. This boy was that close to being thrown into the lake. That close.
"Oh, real informative. Shit. Fun. Sounds exciting," Thalia said with an exasperated laugh.
Goddamnit. Why did she have to get all emotional?
Maybe it was better to walk away. This had nothing to do with a wave of rejection that had just hit her. Nothing to do with the fact he spent more time with Autumn then her. She pushed aside the fact she was always off elsewhere, normally talking to Damocles or protecting her cat, more often then she'd talked to Phil.
So maybe walking away would be better.
That's what she did. She turned around and walked away. If he cared enough he'd say something. If not, she'd go find some Gummy Bears. Preferably the green ones. And eat them in various violent ways, to let out the anger.
And to prevent her from provoking some sort of yelling match. That wouldn't end well.

If Phil thought that he was scared before, that was certainly wrong. Because Thalia had not been laughing before, especially not in a way that suggested even more that she was going to throw him in the lake. He opened his mouth to say something, yet the words wouldn't come out. It was then that Phil realised that he really had no idea what the hell to say. It was just getting crappier by the minute. ... There was always the truth. Sure, Phil hadn't exactly been lying when he said that shit had happened, yet it wasn't really the whole truth either. And if Thalia did choose to kill him in one way or another, at least they could both say that he deserved it. Phil finally looked up to explain, only to see her retreating back as she walked away. No. This wasn't good. This wasn't how it was meant to go...
The next thing he knew, Phil was running after her. Sure Thalia hadn't gotten too far, yet it was enough that he wouldn't have caught up with her by walking. Surely she wouldn't stop for him now, so instead he caught hold of her wrist gently and stopped. "Please," He started, attempting to get his breath back. "Please don't leave it like this."

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Phil. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Phil.
She drummed that into her head with every footstep, but really it wasn't sinking in. She was thinking who she could get mad at, instead. There was Damocles. She could always give him another goat tail.
It was then she realised someone had grabbed her wrist. She turned to find Phil's face. God damn it. Now she was going to say something. Think. Think god damn it. Think.
"Fine then. I won't make you choose."
This sounded like something out of some crappy romance novel.
"She's closer to your age and you spend more time with her anyway. It makes sense," she said, with some sort of conviction in her voice.
Wow, she was a teeny bit of a Drama Queen.
Okay, fine. She should get Drama Queen of the year.

Phil laughed, dropping his hand from Thalia's wrist and back to his side. "You won't make me choose when I've already chosen?" Great. Now he was practically speaking in bloody riddles as well! It was either that or something vomit-inducing that sounded like something out of some crappy romance novel. Although it was almost pretty damn impossible, Phil tried to speak normally anyway.
"Look, shit happened last night that neither of us can really explain. And what happened was wrong. And from the moment it did happen, I knew it was wrong. You wanna know why? Because I'd already chosen you. Not Autumn, you. And I still do."
Goddammit. Now the sod seemed to have come down with a case of verbal diarrhea. He let out a sigh, rubbing his tired eyes with one of his hands. "Please. Age means nothing, and you spend more time with Damocles and Mushu. I think this point is no longer valid."

Oh yay. Riddles. Her strong point. Not.
He'd already chosen her? ... Well. That was unexpected.
"But then...Why did you kiss her?" Oh yay, more questions. And she heard laughing. And it sounded like Damocles. She would kill him.
Then she started to laugh. "I spend more time with a cat then with my boyfriend!" She realised, somewhere between amused and a little bit embarrassed.
ooc/ Complete and utter shit. Thalia's just shut up.

Why did he kiss Autumn? Out of all the things that Thalia could have possibly asked, that had to be the question that Phil had been least prepared for. Even if it was the most freaking obvious. But as to why... there were a few reasons, some Phil was less likely to share than others. Like the part where he kinda liked Autumn like that. There was no way Phil was going to tell Thalia that now, was there? In the end, he just shrugged and replied "I don't know. Caught up in the moment, I guess." Well, it technically wasn't lying.
Then Phil couldn't help but laugh too. "Well, your cat does seem to get into trouble more than most cats." The smile soon faded as Phil remembered what they were even talking about. "I really am sorry, you know." he finally said. Now that wasn't so hard, was it?

"Still. Caught up in the moment? And did you completely forget about me in that moment?" She asked shrewdly. For some reason, that reply had made her feel even more shitty. Was she that easily forgotten? Oh, here we go. Drama trip. She was aware of a growing crowd, and if it got any bigger she'd probably end up giving them some sort of evil look. Or hexing them. Whichever came first.
"And that is true. And you say you're sorry. But...Still. I would have preferred if you'd just told me. Yeah, I would've still been mad. But not as annoyed as I am now," she added, looking him straight in the eye.

Phil chose to remain silent this time, having no idea how the hell to answer that remark. It was one of those questions where every possible way to reply would most likely get him into even more trouble. Yay. Just what he needed. Her next comment was just as impossible to say anything about. Plus the fact that Thalia was looking him directly in the eye certainly didn't improve matters.
Eventually Phil realised what the only correct answer was. Why he couldn't argue with her. Why he wouldn't object if she chose to throw him in the freaking lake. Ok, he would object a little, but you get what I mean! "You're right." He said simply. "I should have told you. Heck- nothing should have even happened. You have every right to be mad, as well as do whatever the hell you want to me. As long as it doesn't involve death..." Great. Now he was rambling. Phil smiled weakly, holding his hands up in surrender. He may as well get it over with.

He'd stayed quiet. Wow.
Then he'd done something she hadn't expected. Surrendered. Yes, she was viewing this as a mini-war. She was sad like that.
Hmm. Do whatever she liked. Punch him. Slap him. Throw him from a cliff. Hug him. Go beat the shit out of Autumn. Autumn would probably win. Scratch that.
"Fine. Just. Let me calm down. I'm still pretty upset. And trying to figure out whether or not you mean it. Whether or not I feel like I can trust you," Thalia sighed, relieved the main arguing thingy was over.

Well this was pretty much torture. Phil was still waiting for Thalia to attack and yet... nothing had happened. Maybe that was her revenge. If it was, even Phil had to say that it was a pretty damn good idea. ... Ok, it was up until it started to get annoying. Which was quite soon, even for Mr. Patient. "Is there any particular reason why I'm still in one peice?" Phil asked carefully after another minute or so of painful silence.
Ah. So he wasn't going to die after all. He nodded once, lapsing into his own thoughts as well. When Phil actually stopped to think about it, there was actually no real way in which he could prove that he was telling the truth and/or meant it. Not unless you went into Veritaserum, which would just be a waste. In other words, he was still screwed... right?
