Thalia was trying to hide. From Leann. Again. Yes, this was her main goal in life. But Leann really thought she and Thalia were bezzies. And, truth be told, Thalia really didn't like her.
Thalia remembered this was the one hour a day she was safe, however. Free period for Thalia, Ancient Runes for Leann. Score.
Thalia walked slowly down some stairs, not really paying attention, and slipped down the uneven one. Someone had spilled water there, as well. Death trap, right? Composing herself two steps down, she pretended nothing had happened, though trying to figure out why someone would leave a slip-able substance on the floor. But if it was Peeves, would he really care?
Damocles, however, had been behind Thalia on those very stairs. And burst into laughter.
"Nice one, Thalia," he said, as if congratulating her. He may seem mean. But when you know someone from a young age, and really don't like many of the same things, you tend not to be very close. And therefore, it was funny when these things happened. After receiving a glare, he just shook his head, and continued down the stairs. He managed to slip on the exact same stair. "God damn it," he said, as he stood up, a step sooner than Thalia had. Peeves. You made a new enemy. Damocles, however, being a bit more logical than Thalia, cleaned up the puddle instead.
Thalia just rolled her eyes. "And you were laughing at me?"
Damocles glared. "Damn straight. Much funnier when you slip."
Thalia, again, juts rolled her eyes, and sat on a bench, pulling out a half-finished essay, and continuing. Hey, it made her look smart, right?
Damocles sat on the bench opposite her, and, feeling childish today, wondered how long Thalia would go without realising he was staring at her. Realising this was very, very, very creepy, he decided against it, and instead started searching through his bag for his timetable and essay he had to finish.
ooc/ Sorry for the shitty quality.
