Of course, Aaron had woken up late again. But, to his delight, it was snowing rather heavily. Walking up to the window and wiping off some of the mist, it looked like it snowed a good twelve inches or so. Rushing to his wardrobe and getting rid of his pajamas, Aaron quickly put on some warm robes and shoes. First class was Transfiguration. Then free period, which then he could go in the snow. Well, that worked out good. Grabbing his heavy bag and wand, Aaron started to run to Transfiguration. Sure, he would probably get a lecture from the teacher, but showing up was better than never showing up. Running down the stairs, he tripped, hit his back on a step, and rolled into a stand. "Fuck, that hurt." Aaron murmured and ran down the steps more carefully. Running about ten feet past the Transfiguration door panting, he walked calmly to it, attempting to catch his breath. Opening the door, he looked to the teacher with a pathetic smile. "Um. I kinda slept in. And noticed it was snowing so I got a happy. And I ran here and fell down stairs. So I really don't have a fancy excuse." Aaron said truthfully, sitting down in a random seat. "Tsk, Tsk, detention on Thursday, Chambers." Professor McGonagall said with a roll of her eyes. Aaron just simply nodded, opening his notebook and began to write what was on the board silently.

Ally was soaked. She'd gone to bed around three am, and woken up around 5 am. And as for all the time before and after.....well, she'd been outside in the snow, obviously. She was shivering like mad, and could definitley feel a cold coming on, but it was sooo worth it. She'd made an eight foot tall snowman with some ravenclaw guy from her year, and then the two of them had had a one on one snowball fight that lasted two hours, but had called it off when they were both about to pass out from exahaustion and were soaked. Lucky him - he had first period free. Ally had transfiguration with the Gryffindors, then her free period. Now she was soaked AND late. She summoned her bag from her dorm, not having enough time to actually go back to her dorm and get it. And then, as she was sprinting to the transfiguration corridor, she quickly cast a charm to dry her clothes. She ran her fingers through her dark hair, which was still wet and stringy - a real state - as she knocked on the classroom door and slowly opened it. "Uhh, sorry I'm late?" She offered, smiling hopefully. Eh. What was one more late mark on her record, and another detention? "Ms. Crub." Professor McGonagall gave a small nod of acknowledgement, and then added, "You'll be joining Mr.Chambers for detention Thursday night." Ally, grinning, nodded and gave a salut. "Got it!" She smiled as she slipped into the only seat still empty, which was next to the Gryffindor kid she was pretty sure was Aaron Chambers, who she had detention with on Thursday. Without saying anything to him, she quickly attempted to catch up on the notes written on the board, a small smile still on her face. It wasn't a rare thing for McGonagall to give her detention, she almost got one every day.

Yawning, Aaron rubbed his eyes. Maybe, instead of going in the snow, he could possibly go to the Hospital Wing to get her to examine her back. "Professor McGonagall, when does this class end?" Aaron called out, not even bothering to raise his hand. He sat up straight, placing his feet on the leg of the table, and pushing again it, resulting in him simply leaning back in his chair. "Eight forty, Mr Chambers, and please refrain from calling out or you will receive another detention." She replied with a sigh, returning to write on the board. Eight forty was fifty minutes away. Great. This was probably going to be a really long class. Some how, Aaron's elbow hit his notebook, causing it to bump against Ally, then fall. Bending down, he picked it up and murmured a,"Sorry about that.". Moving his eyes to the window, it was slightly foggy, so Aaron had trouble seeing the snow. Rubbing his arm gently, it was pretty cold in this room. But, winter was winter, there was nothing to do about it.
