So far so good.
____The first day of her first year, in Hogwarts, had gone good so far. Her brother got sorted into the same house, even though he was seventeen this was his first year at Hogwarts so he had to be sorted. She was really excited to continue learning all the things her brother talked about, she was excited for Advanced Potions, Defense Against Dark Arts, and even Advanced Charms.
____Though it made her sad that her brother ignored her existence, he had made friends with the Quiddich team, what jerks. She sat quietly looking around she wanted the perfect set of friends, ones that she knew would stick together through and through, she wanted friends who would be there for her, who would like her for who she is, she wanted a group of friends that she didn’t have to be something she wasn’t, that she didn’t have to act like a pompous jerk around just so they would pay attention to her. So far? Little luck.
____ She knew that being in Slytherin put her out as a bitch, but she really wasn’t one, plus she only was a bitch when she needed to be. She also knew that the house rivalry was still strong, and inner house relations were still a touchy subject, but she didn’t like to think about it like that. If you wanted to be friends with someone, you should be despite-less what house they were in. But that was just an sixteen year old‘s wishful thinking.
____A sigh escaped her lips, she had talked to a few people after she announced she had lost the game, a game her and her friends from America use to play, it was funny really because there was no real way to win the game. Well after she announced she lost the game, a few others who knew what the Game was cursed at her and laughed, thus striking up a conversation, though she lost interest in it after a while. She hoped her new friends would play 'the game' with her.
____This year would be lousy if she couldn’t fine people she could get along with. She smiled picked up a lollie that had appeared, apparently it was desert time, and moved over towards the Head boy asking him what the password was for she was feeling ill, though she really wasn’t feeling ill she just wanted to get out of here and explore, that was her thing she loved exploring and this place was huge, if she wanted to not be found she wouldn’t be, it would be an ultimate game of hide and seek.
____She dismissed herself and slipped out of the room, she flattened out her robes, they were the standard black robes with the Slytherin patch to she what house she was in, she didn’t know where it came from but she wasn’t one to ask questions. She moved her blondish-red hair out of her face and behind her ear and let her blue-green eyes wander around the empty hall way. Sure the school was huge and the food was great but she wasn’t content with her experience so far, but of course she knew friends just don’t grow overnight….or do they? It seemed like it in every novel she read that dealt with friends, they seemed to become friends almost instantly, sometimes she wished life was like a novel. If it were then she could go on grand adventures with a group of close friends, and some how they would all make it out alive and live on to do more great adventures. Wouldn’t that be nice?
____“If I were a secret passage way where would I be?” she spoke moving the sucker that was in her mouth to the other side with her tongue. Putting her hands on her hips she looked around again, she stood still and looked around as if the secret door would just come slap her in the face or something.
What a great first day.
